Eddy's
Fishing/Boating Report - July 24th, 2008

Over the weekend fishing was a little slow. Mostly because
the weather Saturday wasn't really favorable for it. Most
of the day we had rain showers and some thunderstorms. So it
kept quite a few people off the lake. Saturday evening and
Sunday the weather cooperated a people got out. Deep water bobbering off the sides of the
mud flats after dark is doing well along with the deeper rocks
piles. The evening Walleye bite is still there. I heard
the Muskies are starting to get more active. They should
with the warmer water.
Last night the guys from the shop and I went to the north
end and trolled for Muskies with "The Postman"- Gene Miller.
We had three on during the trip but none got to the boat.
It was a lot of fun and definitely put a new twist to fishing
for them. I know...all the "casters" are going say it's
not fishing or something, but I'll tell you what. Gene's
way of fishing gives a lot of fishermen that wouldn't be able to
a chance to catch one. It's a good time.
